I've only had light dumbbells in my house and wanted something more. I thought these were a good option and it appears I was right. The select-dial is very easy to use and swapping weight is so much easier than standard free weight dumbbells. I love the feel of the rubber grip, and I like how the very ends are rubber, so if you bang them against each other (say during bench press), there's no loud noises or uncomfortable vibrations.

Excellent set of weights....I train 6 days and ride 100 plus per week 2080 Barbell along with the 552 dumbbells give you all the weight training options you ever need. The amount of exercises you can potentially get out of this system is very impressive If you cross train or do doubles, even better. If you purchase standard weights and bought each piece separately, you would have 5 times the investment, a more time consuming workout and require a full room for storage and use. We designed and thought out Great product

My husband owned the Bowflex adjustable weights when we got married and we used them off and on over the past 17 years. Then gyms shutdown and they became a staple in my at home Crossfit workouts. One day, I was working out in the parking lot of my condo building with them, and went for a warmup run (which I had done many times) and came back to the weights gone. I was devastated because I knew I should have locked them up before I ran. And it was June, 2020, so nothing in stock. But Bowflex as a company was great when we contacted them. We got on a wait list and as soon as any were in stock, we were notified. We were told it would likely be three months before them arrived. It was 6 weeks. And just in time for a second shutdown of gym classes in our state. I love the amount of varied weight we can use while storing only one set of dumbbells. While the group for things like single arm snatches is a bit awkward, they are useable and get the job done for solid strength workouts.
