The quick-switch variable-weight technology is genius and I really appreciate it. Helpful substitute when I don't want to go to the gym during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also appreciate the thought put into the instruction booklet - it is easy to understand. I wish you could manufacture the weights without getting lubricant all over every part of them, including the handle and base. There is no reason I can think of for the base to be slicked with lube. I assume the lubricant is why there is a health warning on the box, which is unfortunate. Wish it were manufactured in the US. Lastly, they are too long and bulky compared to normal dumbbells, but I guess that's the trade-off for the convenience of variability.
