My boyfriend and I have been looking to build our own home gym since the pandemic began. It just seems like the right long-term move to save money and time. These dumbbells are the perfect starter equipment for any home gym. It doesn't take up much space and the dial to adjust the weight is very smooth and easy to use. The handles are also very comfortable to use. I have pretty small hands and I have no problem gripping the handles. Only complaint is that I don't like the stand it comes with very much. It's made of plastic and seems sturdy enough, but the edges are so sharp and the finger grips on the sides are too shallow. It makes moving the entire unit really difficult. I think adding some silicone feet and more rounded edges on the bottom of the stand, or making the grips easier to hold, would be nice.

Cons: Awkward to move with the stand

The product itself if great, easy to use, feels solid, the base that comes with it is also good. The only cons are that they are a bit wide, but just a minor inconvenience. Overall excellent dumbbells. The other con is with the shipping, i asked to be notified when they would be in stock so i could order, when i got the notification they had them in stock i ordered within minuets. They took almost 4 months to ship and deliver. If you are telling people they are in stock but then don't actually have them to ship until nearly 4 months later it's pretty deceptive. I actually had moved within that 4 month period, i emailed bowflex customer service to change my shipping address (could never get anyone on the phone after hours on hold) and never got a response and had to go to my old house to pick them when they delivered. Solid product though. #sweepstakes

These are great. I have been using another brands adjustable dumbbells which I thought were very nice. Until covid hit. I gave the others to a son since he needs them daily and the gyms were all closed. They were actually bought for him when in college.
