The dumbbells are great. Of course as you probably already know they are a little bulky. Doing exercises were the dumbbells are close together become pretty annoying, they bang into each other. The variety of weights let me switch from each exercise rapidly. I am a little knew to weights because I am mostly a runner. These weights are a great introduction to lifting and are overall great.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use

My single criticism would be the length of each bumbell. Can't be helped given the concept but as a small statured person the length can get in the way. But, convenience wins over length. I guess it's both.. what you've got ans how you use it

I love these weights. I admittedly like the feel of bowflex over the power block. bowflex feels more like a traditional dumbbell. The criticism that I have is that you need the plastic base tray to change the weight. I just wish the base tray felt more sturdy. I'm guessing the base issue is why bowflex want to sell you the custom stand. Besides that complaint I'm very happy with the product
