So this takes some getting used to. They are bulky and can get in your way during certain moves. But the whole point for me was to have wt options. I'm excited to have 2.5lb increments. Sometimes that's all you need while increasing weight.
I use this product to do some strength training to compliment my endurance training. It works super well and I love how little room they take. Perfect for anyone who wants a home gym but doesn't want to commit a ton of space.
Very convenient and works well thus far- my hesitation in giving 5 stars is reading other reviews which stare the equipment isn't durable. Hopefully it lasts. #sweepstakes
Like millions of people, quit the gym during the pandemic and wanted to upgrade my home workout equipment. For a home gym, it is impractical to buy separate dumbbell pairs. I had used these before at my daughter's house and liked the overall shape and feel. I think they are more comfortable and user-friendly than square-shaped adjustable dumbbells. The adjustments are easy to make, they look good, and the size range is adequate for most people to grow as strength levels increase. Unfortunately (for me) I had to pay full retail and wait almost 4 months for delivery because of heavy world-wide demand, but we were happy to receive them a couple of weeks ago. The only small caveat is that, in order to accommodate the 2.5-52.5lb weight range, the dumbbells are a little long and a little bulky, compared to individual DBs. That's not a flaw--it's an inherent design feature common to all adjustable dumbbells-- but it might affect the feel of certain exercises--especially ones like a bench press or overhead press where you are bringing the weights together at the top of the lift. Not a big deal.
