These are great, especially for the price. The only knock I would have on them is that they are somewhat bulky. Some exercises are difficult due to the size of the dumbbells. Overall I would give them a 9 out of 10!
I recently purchased just about every style adjustable dumbbell available in order to review. I was very surprised with the build quality on the Bowflex at the MSRP. My biggest issue with this style adjustable is the width stays the same regardless of weight. There are much better options but not at this price point. Would be nice if they had a straight knurled handle and the option to select using just one selector. Not sure why Bowflex elected to require both sides. Overall I would take Powerblocks, Ironmasters, Core over these but only the Core's are close in price.
Pros: Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use
Cons: Heavy / Bulky, Noisy
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was a bit skeptical of the quality and how these would work since I've been used to using dumbbell sets for the last 30 years. Once our gym closed due to Covid, we started working out with our trainer via FaceTime and needed some equipment at home. We bought these dumbbells and I am MORE THAN IMPRESSED! Being a minimalist, they take up very little room! My only regret? I didn't buy these sooner.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
The dumbbells feel sturdy, and the clicking sound they make as you change the weight selection is so satisfying. You have to take special care when re-racking them to ensure that they're sliding into place just right. I use them for everything (6', 200 lbs), but my girlfriend has a more slender build (5'6" 125 lbs) and she has a hard time using them for things like bench press or overhead press due to their bulky size. They large enough that she has to hold them a certain way to keep them from banging together. Other than that, I love them! (Also, yes, they are expensive. But compare the price to a set of standard dumbbells in the same weight range and I think they're comparable or cheaper. And obviously they take up 1/10th the amount of space the dumbbells would take up).
They are exactly what I expected minus one thing. I had used my brothers pair of these for years as he bought them 7+ years ago and had always intended on getting my own when needed. When it came time to get my own pair i didn't hesitate as i knew what a great use they are. My only issue with them is that the base they arrived with is made of hollowed plastic which is far different from the heavy duty and strong base's that my brothers older pair came with. I'm not sure if you choose to use this lower quality idea because you can increase your profit revenue or if it's because you are hard pressed for production due to the overwhelming demand currently. I don't think I'd have to buy a new set however with this plastic base i can only keep thinking that it will break and i will have to at the very least buy a new base. Either way I'd would and still do recommend these to anyone looking to workout as they are incredibly convenient.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
Cons: Flimsy
