We really have enjoyed this addition to our home gym. It's useful to have 2 52.5-lb dumbbells with adjustable increments for a low cost per pound. Setup was extremely easy, and these weights are pretty straightforward to use. The dumbbells themselves are pretty wide when compared to traditional iron, so it can be a slight adjustment for exercises like where you are "pinching" your pecs. Overall, we're fairly happy. The biggest drawback was the wait time from ordering-> delivery. We ordered these in November, and received them in March.

Cons: Difficult for intervals

We bought the stand and the 552s. The only drawback was waiting 4 months. We love these. Great quality and super easy to use, easy to change weights. I read a lot of reviews of ppl saying that they didn't like the way the base plate (the weight sits it) attached to the base stand. I agree, it could have been designed a lot better. Anyway the complaint is their knuckles keep bumping the plastic clip which holds the strap around the base which holds the entire dumbbell to the base. So, now that I have it, it baffles me these ppl don't just put the strap on upside down so the plastic clip is underneath and only the strap is being touched by your knuckles. Plus, they must have some pretty large knuckles to hit the strap in the first place. My overall impression is these are worth every penny and I'm glad they are in out home gym. Great space saver and excellent quality.

Way better than wasting $ and space on solid dumbbells

These dumbbells are great for just about any exercise where you hold the handle of the dumbbell. If you intend to use them kind of like a kettle-bell, holding the end rather than the handle (as you might do with solid dumbbells), you probably won't be satisfied. They are rather long as compared to solid dumbbells, especially at lower weights, but from 20lbs up, I don't think it's a factor. Other than those minor trade-offs, these are as good as a full set of sold dumbbells without the additional cost and space required. I also bought the stand, which makes weight changes between sets much easier.

My husband and I started working out at home during quarantine and needed more variety in our weight selection without taking up too much space, these are perfect! They're easy to use and you can quickly change the weight amount during your workout if needed. These are really good. They are a bit clunky and big when you have them loaded up, so deadlifts can be a bit awkward if you don't have access to a barbell or other weights. Selector is easy to use, they store easier then separate weights. Would definitely recommend and buy again.
