I'm using these to try tone up after losing a tremendous amount of weight. They allow me to workout from my basement (with hockey on!) and they allow me to have a complete set of weights, yet only take up the space of one pair of dumbbells. I have found them easy to adjust the weight amounts (though slightly difficult during a timed circuit because you must actually set them into the base before adjusting the amounts). I had a bit of difficulty taking them out of the box because of how heavy they are (I'm not up to 52.5 lbs YET), but beyond that it's been a great time. I've used them nearly every day since getting them and it's helped to energize my fitness goals even more.

I've only had them for a short time but I'm happy so far. It saves a tremendous amount of space in the workout area of our house compared to loose weights. It's also very convenient for changing the amount of weight and saves time. The only things that I don't like are first, the grips are a bit large and also a slippery material. Those two details combined with sweaty hands during a workout could lead to potential dropping. It hasn't happened and hopefully it never does but I think the problem would be resolved if a different material was used for the grips. Maybe something tacky or rough rubber, etc. The dumbbells are a bit bulky and somewhat limit extreme range of motion with certain exercises but that's really the concept of these products. To allow for a wide range of weights so they need to be long enough to hold those weights so I'm not as critical of this aspect.

Cons: Grips (handles) are a bit large, Grips (handles) are slippery, Heavy / Bulky
