This product is great to have if you want to save space and money (as opposed to buying several separate sets of dumbbells). They look and feel like a quality product. However, they are longer than most dumbbells - which may limit the range of motion you are used to when doing certain exercises. Also, the weights need to be returned to the holder each time you want to change your weight selection - with 4 knobs needing to be adjusted. This takes time, so the weights aren't ideal if your routine uses various sets of dumbbells with minimal rest between sets. #sweepstakes
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Strengthens
I absolutely love these dumbbells. The ability to adjust the weights as needed is great for me. I'm able to accomplish all or most of my compound lifting with these DBs along with isolation movement exercises. I Know with a few exercises I will hit a plateau and won't be able to break through with these set of weights, so the only con with these DBs is that there is no way to add more weight to your current workouts using the 552 series, except for purchasing the SelectTech 1090 series, which now costs roughly $800
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use
These are great. They are just what I needed for my home gym. I wanted a variety of weights without investing in a huge rack. Why only four stars? These could be smaller. I would love to see Bowflex streamline them. Also, if you have small hands, the grips might be an issue.
Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Strengthens
Use these dumbbells as my sole source of working out, thanks to the pandemic! But no real complaints. Before the Bowflex, I did not realize the number of workout variations possible using just dumbbells. The product itself is super convenient to use and easy to maintain. #sweepstakes
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
I enjoy my 552 set and it came early from when hey says which makes me happy. My only problem with it and never had the product before so maybe this is the way it is but the dumbbells are a bit loose when I switch plates so that's weird but maybe that's the way it is!
Pros: Comfortable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
Great product, only "con" is length of dumbbells may slightly impact some exercises, but worth ease and quickness of weight change and minimal space. Yes
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Quiet, Strengthens
These dumbbells are great for home workouts on days when I don't have time for the gym. They really save space and the adjustable feature allows me to utilize progressive overload for all different types of workouts. Their bulkiness is the only disadvantage.
I've only had the adjustable dumbbells for a few weeks and I love them. They're quick to change the weight. They take up very little space. If I had to say anything negative it would be that they're larger than the dumbbells I use at the gym... not really a problem.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Strengthens
