Buyer beware, if purchasing get extended warranty.

The product is overall a good exercise product. I have knee issues so I purchased this for that reason. It's alright for low impact, however there is still some stress with the downward extension. So for worse knee problems might suggest other products. While the product is a good exercise device, if it breaks (and it will) you are expected to troubleshoot over the phone and small fingers are required to do what they need (and crawling around on the ground which is great for a bad knee). Then you find out that while the parts are covered for two years you are expected to either do part replacement yourself or pay almost as much as the extended warranty to get a one-time technician to replace it. So beware if you do purchase get the extended warranty as it will break and then it will be on you to maneuver in small spaces to repair the unit. I've had the unit for 8 months and use it pretty regularly. About 6 months in the console and servo motor both broke, but contacting support was not easy due to the times they were open and times I could be at my unit to "troubleshoot' as you had to be at the unit and call on the phone.

Cons: Noisy
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Product is Good but Does NOT Replace Free Weights

This is a decent option to enhance a set of free weights. We were going to replace our free weights with this set and decided not to, as this set is bulky and doesn't work well for all exercises. We suggest buying this IN ADDITION to a free weight set--not as a replacement for one.

A little disappointed that the 2.5 lb increments stops at 25 lbs. But it's great for doing most things. The handles have silicone-like material so it's not that serrated metal of the larger Bowflex set (also have those). They are a little awkward and bulky for certain movements. Sometimes at higher weights, it's a little harder to guide them back in the base, but it's not something that would ever deter me from using them. I would absolutely purchase again, great space saver for an at-home gym.

My fiance and I use these weights for our daily workouts. I was honestly unable to use them more than once due to how bulky they were. I couldn't do the movements of my workout without hitting myself or adjusting. I knew they would be large, but for me, these are way too big to be functional for what I need. He is going to continue trying to use them and see how they work for his workouts. I do think height/arm length likely have some influence and wish I could have used these more, since they are super convenient for storage/space saving. Overall, disappointed, especially having to wait almost 6 months for them to arrive.
