I used to go to the gym 6 days a week prior to Covid. Once Covid hit and my gym shut down, I got lazy. After a few months, I needed something to motivate me again so started to build a small home gym. No gym is complete without free weights. The bowflex 552's are perfect as they give you a wide range of weights without taking up alot of space. If you are used to normal free weights, they do take some time to get used to but once you settle in, you realize it is a great piece of equipment that work perfectly in a home gym setting. I highly recommend these dumbbells. #sweepstakes

They are definitely bulkier than other dumbbells because of the adjustability, but it isn't a huge change when you're actually working out. Only other con is that they clink slightly when in motion. Not a whole lot but it can be distracting at first. The adjustability is so so good. It is wonderful to be able to use different weights for different muscle groups, and I love that the lower end adjusts in increments of 2.5 lbs. If I was starting from scratch setting up a home gym., this is the first thing I would buy.

I was initially worried about the quality of these dumbbells considering the quick ramp up in production needed to meet the obvious demand for this product during the pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised to find these in top condition and got no sense that they had rushed there production process to meet demand. I use these things everyday, even in between calls for work and I get great energy even in a short period of time. Overall, these were a great purchase and I encourage anyone to invest in these for sure!

#sweepstakes With these dumbbells, I literally no longer have any need to go to the gym. They are amazing and work really well. I've bought adjustable dumbbells before but this is by far the best. Other dumbbells take awhile to adjust and switch between weights, but this one makes it really easy. The range of weights it can cover is impressive as well.

If efficient use of your space and cost are big factors for you, definitely consider investing in these 552's. I priced it out, and I saved about $240 By getting these instead of the 4 or 5 sets of individual weights I was considering. It's really easy to select different weights, I am able to switch them out in my low intensity sections of my HIIT workouts. Ive only been using these for a few weeks, but so far I love them. My wife did complain that they were a little bulky for the smaller size weights, but it's not too bad once you get used to it...just something to keep in mind.
