I made a commitment to improving my health in 2020, and COVID put a huge damper to that. But with these weights, I get nearly the same workout as I do at the gym. I love how easy they are to use and how much space they don't take up. I've heard people talk about these in the past, but thought they were too good to be true. And now I am a true believer. I use these dumbbells about 5 days a week with my strength training exercises. I really really love how I don't have to have a bunch of space to house the DBs. The downside of having interchangeable DBs is that when trying to quickly move from one exercise to the next in a superset format, it might take a little longer due to having to readjust the interlocking system that the Bowflex DBs have. However, if you can just push your pace and won't necessarily get too impatient with that added process, then these are a MUST BUY for your home gym! I also love the 2.5lb increments from 5-25 lbs before then jumping up 5lbs all the way to 50lbs. I believe the bonus is having an extra 2.5lbs, topping off the DB at 52.5 total pounds of resistance weight. I would suggest starting with a set of these 552s before jumping up to the 1090s - at least that's my plan. Build up the strength that you want before pushing it to the next level! Great to work your small and larger muscles respectively within the same DB set. #sweepstakes

This set of dumbbells is great! If you are beginning to build your strength or need a light set of weights for a cardio workout; if you are wanting to maintain strength or build power; if you are male or female; these weights can be beneficial to you, and are adaptable for most fitness levels. If you're not to the point of curling over 52 pounds regularly, I'd say these are for you. I especially like that my wife and I can share them and we were able to get rid of multiple sets of dumbbells. They are comfortable to grip, no special gloves needed -I even use them at home without gloves at times, I just pull off my wedding ring as I do so(only for the workout). I think this set of dumbbells is fantastic, and can't really think of any cons, you twist to the desired weight and get after it. The weights hold in place great, there aren't any obnoxious noises, nor do you feel as if the weights are loose or may fall. I would recommend this product "#SWEEPSTAKES"
