The product is great. I am starting out very light weights in order to get use to the product. they save space and time . I follow the instuctions in the manuel and the dvds. I cant find one thing bad with this 552. Keep it up Bowflex

I use the 552's most days of each week. They are great for isolated, smaller muscle workouts, like delts and biceps. There is just not enough weight for larger muscle workouts, like bench press and shrugs. You'll need to graduate to the larger set for the larger muscle groups. All in all, though, great product for the weight it offers. Further, they are not meant for rough use. You can't "throw them to the ground" like you might like to do in the gym. They are plastic; they'll break. As long as you're not an animal, you'll be just fine.
