We bought these specifically to use with a very popular 90-day "boot camp" DVD program. The SelecTech's were simply perfect! They are easy to handle, balance easily in your hands, and very easy to change your weight! There is even a sequence in this program where you do a ladder, beginning heavy, then moving to lighter weight. The SelecTech weights were so easy to move through that progression! I could feel the weights targeting my muscles, and was able to up my weight two times during the program. There is no other weight I would recommend for home use!

I previously had a large dumbbell rack with dumbells from 5# to 55# in pairs. It was so heavy and so cumbersome, especially when I moved. Not working out with weights in the last 6 years I wanted to get back in shape without having to leave the house and go to a gym. I bought these and I am perfectly satisfied! I put off buying these because I had seen other inferior models but the Bowflex Dumbbells are alone at a level of quality I didn't expect. I waited and found a good deal that included the stand and a bench; I am very satisfied and have started a regular exercise schedule.
