I work in financial services and typically get home very late, but I've never been lazy about working out. If I'm really busy I'll work out at home before I go to work, maybe follow a workout video such as P90X. I quickly realized that I need the equipment. My place doesn't fit a full gym (obviously) and even select equipment would take up too much space. The bowflex dumbells function great - instead of having dumbells of varying weights and take up lots of space, I have store the bowflex equipment in a corner and use them for a variety of workout moves. I use them regularly and I think it's a great buy for the price!

I live in a small 2 bedroom apt, so space is very limited. My complex has a gym but I prefer to workout at home. I am enrolled in the P90X program and the Chalean Extreme program which both require weights. The Bowflex SelectTech 522 is the perfect solution. It stores away nicely in the corner of the room and has a wide range of weights for all my workouts. I'm not a body builder so I don't need anything heavier then 52lbs. The dials are easy to operate and the dumbbells feel really balanced in my hands despite how bulky it may look. The construction is solid and the weight plates do not move around making clinking sounds like other dumbbells. It looks nice, feels nice, works nice and its the best investment I've ever made on gym equipment.

I use these weights three days a week during my P90X workouts. I waited until my second round through the program to upgrade from traditional weights and after switching I can't believe I waited so long. These waits are perfect for home use. I have so many more weight variations available and it takes up less space than the wimpy set I was using previously. I love this product.

This piece of equipment was ideal for me due to the lack of space in my garage. I pretty much use these dumbbells for every day of my workout schedule, whether it be chest, arms, shoulders legs or back these dumbbells are great for any workout. In my opinion this equipment is perfectly designed and never feel awkward no matter what exercise I am doing. Great product especially when incorporating proper technique and form when lifting.
