After a lot of research I found them to be better constructed than the other multi weight dumb bells on the market. They are of high quality and I expect years of use from them. The only con is that they area little cumbersome. A slight change in your movement is required for curls or other lifts where the width can get in the way.

I bought these dumbbells because I started a popular weight training program and they work great. They are easy to use and save a ton a space. The only downfall is that the straps they use to hold them to the base has to be loosened with an ally wrench which a little too cumbersome.

The Bowflex weights give me the diversity to do a wide range of exercises without taking up much space. The only potential negative is that at lower weights, they are bulkier/larger than traditional weights which took some getting used to.
