I've had these dumbells for a couple months now. They seem pretty solid, but time will tell whether they really are. My only critical observation is that they are quite a bit larger than standard dumbells, particularly compared to the lower weights, so it took a little while to get used to them.

I have been using this for P90x training. They have performed excellently. The quick change ability really keeps my workout area clean and clutter free. However, the first set I had fell off the rack and broke one of the weight holders. That was my fault, but it has reminded me not to carelessly drop the weights when I'm at the end of a strenuous set. I did say they were a bit big and for some exercises they are. They definitely don't prevent you from doing the exercises you just need to be comfortable with them so you don't whack yourself in the head :)

Bought this to save space and replace my dumbbells. The product is excellent and the technology put into it is perfect. Compliments well with myP90x workout. Also, came with a free stand and that's a big plus compare to the free bench promo. This product is somewhat bulky and wide, it might limit some exercises but you can always modify the movement of what type of exercise your're performing

I'm 6'3" and highly recommend the stand for sheer convenience and back safety upon completion of exhaustive routines. The weights themselves are perfect for the limited real-estate they need in a home and especially in a NYC apartment where space IS money. I thought the size would hamper certain movement but that hasn't been the case for me and I actually have grown to prefer the size and love the speed of dialing in weight transfers. Once you get used to the quick spin of two dials, a closet size rack of multiple weights seems absurd even if you have abundant space. I've had them for over a year now and am very happy with this purchase. With an added adjustable bench, the walk to a sweaty gym of possible sick people is a thing of the past and a water and shake is ten feet away.
