These work great for my wife and I as we need different weights but don't want to sacrifice space. Once and a while they either get stuck in the bases or a plate will get out of whack making seating them a little tricky. You'll want the stand for sure.
Pros: Compact, Easy To Use, Great For Sharing, Multifunctional
At the age of 55, it's time to get back in shape. Sitting in front of the computer for so many years has left me flabby and I hate the way I look. I'm only a few pounds over weight but I'm certainly not in shape. In my 40's, I had a personal trainer and I remember those sessions and how to gain my potential. Until now, however, I haven't had all the tools I need. I have a Bowflex Ultimate but these free weights allow me to work on muscles in different ways. I love 'em! For this price, I'm getting a full set of dumb bells that have a very small footprint and look great in my workout area. I couldn't be happier with them.
I bought the 552's as a gift for my wife and she loves them!! I had to try them for myself and they are great!! I will be getting the 90lb selecttechs in the future. The only 2 cons I have is they can be too long for some workouts and if you get in a hurry and don't put them in the cradle correctly and try to dial in a different weight the weight plate can fall off. Other than that I would definitely recommend this product!
