I work out about 5 days a week for the past 10 years. I have an entire gym in my basement but never use it. I prefer the gym but these are great to have. I keep them in my living room because they don't take much space and they are surprisingly sturdy. I would definitely buy them again.

I really like the grips. They are rounded and fit perfectly in the hands. The only negative is when I am using the lower wights (10-15), the big weight rings are bulky and get in the way. (Tricep extenisions and tricep kickbacks) A modification for lower weights would be to use the smaller weight rings.

I use these daily for home workouts. The only con is that if you're planning on packing on some serious muscle it might be worthwhile to purchase the next size up so you don't outgrow these like I am about to.

I picked these up to use with the P90X program. They fit the bill perfectly. With P90X you need to change weight often in a single workout and use various weights. The SelectTech dumbbells make these changes easy and it all fits in a compact package. I would definitely recommend getting the stand as well since that puts the weights at the perfect height for making quick changes. I'm very pleased with the purchase and I would buy them again in an instant.
