Once you get over the funny shape when you adjust to different weights, you'll never miss your huge set of dumbbells again. When you think about the amount of space this frees up in your house/workout room it just doesn't make sense to buy anything else. Very sturdy, I can tell these will last a very, very long time.

I do a lot of DVD workouts in my home and different moved require different amounts of weight. Switching plates on bars was a pain and slowed progress or only trying to use the same weights for each exercise was not effective for some lifts or to much for others. These weights allow me to switch very quickly and do not impede my workout at all.
