Great product ... sometimes the dials lock up when trying to dial in the weight (my only complaint). Plenty of weight unless your at a higher level of weight training. Very happy with the 52.5 lbs !!! Thank you.

Great overall product. Very sturdy and durable - I've only had them a month so we'll see how they hold up over time but they seem well built. The weight changing is awesome. I like the fact that they don't clang when you use them - I've seen others that do. Get the stand - period. It's worth every penny and it's well built. You have an entire dumbbell set in your room - how awesome is that. Few ideas for improvements: Make them shorter (I realize that due to the weight capacity and the variety, this may not be possible, but if I were in R&D at Bowflex, I'd be looking into this). Make the weight changing easier - This is an interesting one. Spinning the dials to change the weights is pretty easy - let's be honest. But did you realize that you need to spin TWO dials on EACH weight to get to the weight you want? And they spin in opposite directions. So one needs to spin clockwise and the other spins counter-clockwise. This is done so you can put different amount of weight on each side of the dumb-bell to aid in muscle confusion and development. HOWEVER for those of us that don't want to do this, would there be a way to make these spin in the same direction and lock the dials in together so when I spin the front dial, it also spins the back dial and gives me the right weight without needing to spin two dials in opposite directions? Again, not a huge deal but something that I'd look for on the next generation of these weights. Overall a great product that works very well. I've VERY happy with this product and if you are doing P90X or some other video game program (highly recommend UFC trainer for XBox Kinect), these are a great addition.

I used to workout at the gym and was used to having all the dumbbells I needed at my disposal. Now I workout at lunchtime in an unused room at work. I don't have a lot of space, but need varying weights for different exercises. I had been considering the purchase of either a set of dumbbells or the SelectTech Dumbbells for over a year. However, to get the same number of sets of dumbbells as the settings on the SelectTech, it would have been much more expensive and taken up too much space. After much consideration, I went with the SelectTech 552 Dumbbells. It does take some getting used to using them, but that is offset by the flexibility of having many more weights to select from and the amount of money and space saved. Prior to purchasing the SelectTech 552 Dumbbells, I had been using a limited number of dumbbells and was getting limited results. I noticed an improvement in my workouts during the first week of using my SelectTech 552 Dumbbells. I only wish I would have purchased them sooner.

I use it during my P90X workouts. I used to use different sets of weights. I got to the point where I would either have to buy more weights, or invest in the SelectTech. I decided to buy the SelectTech and never looked back! They are very versatile and easy to use. I think it's by far the best product out on the market today. I can't think of one negative comment about them. You can tell there has been a lot of thought and time spent on the design and engineering of this product.
