These weights were an excellent choice for my husband and myself. The upper limit of the dumbells are still challenging enough for him to tone his muscles and build endurance. The lower poundage is great for myself, I'm a petite female and he's a tall strong guy so we don't lift even close to the same weights for the same workouts. These weights were perfect and saved us from having to line up the entire wall in our workout room with all the sizes of weights we would need. The only con I have so far to these weights is that from end to end they are a little long so can be difficult to maneuver for some workouts. It's really not that big of a deal though because you can always modify the lift or just chose to ones that it doesn't matter for.

My husband and I use the weights together. We love just the twist of the number and go. The downside is the angle of the stand causes downward unursia on the cogs making different sounds. Hopefully this won't be a wear issue on them. Other than that they are perfect and we just love them.

I live in a rather small apartment, so these dumbbells were great for a home gym/work out area. They only take a little more space than 2 normal dumbbells but work pretty much like 10 or 12. Very helpful when you're working different muscle groups and since they adjust at 2.5 and 5 lb increments, my girlfriend is able to use them too.

This is a great product. Extremely easy to use. Well designed and manufactured and easy to install the stand. My kids also use them with ease and safety. Why in the world would you get a set of 30 dumbbells when you can get just one with multiple settings? Sounds DUMB to me.

I canceled my gym membership and decided to pick up a pair of these dumbells on Black Friday. The promotion that I found included the Bowflex adjustable bench with the dumbells! I am currently using the dumbells along with the P-90x workout Program and it works great. You need to be able to switch weights on the fly with P-90x so these dumbells are perfect for that. They also dont take up much room in my apartment.
