Saw the SelectTech dumbbells in a fitness magazine and asked my fiance for them. She got them and the stand and had it all put together for me on Christmas morning (so if she can do it you know you can do it). It's been the greatest gift, 1: because it's so versatile and 2: I can finally loose my gym membership. Being able to dial in to different weights on either end and then using the Swiss Ball really engages my core to have to stabilze the offset weight. Will definitely be getting the 5.1 Series Bench soon to complete my home gym.

Excellent tool to use with P90X, P90X Plus, P90X2 or any fitness program. Before purchasing the Bowflex Select dumbells, the time frame to complete the P90X daily scheduled workouts took alot longer due to having to change dumbell weights. Bowflex Select dumbells eleviates that problem and allows you to keep up with Tony without pausing. Great product!

I work out 4 days a week at the gym. I use these dumbbells when I can't make it to the gym. They are very nice, high quality. I wish the handles were more cylindrical like a normal dumbbell instead of fatter in the middle and tapered at the edges. I got the 110 bench also which was much higher quality and sturdier than expected.

Purchased these instead of a set of various size dumbbells to cut down on space required. They are pretty easy to use, but it does seem somewhat redundant that you have to turn the selector on both ends of the dumbbell to set the weight - it would be nice if you just had to select the weight once.
