They will keep me alive and motivated. I use them as dumbbells and the DVD taught me a lot more. They are everything I expected and have become a GYM friend. Alas, my wife kicked them out of the living room onto the covered patio. Lord, protect them from the elements, AMEN. They just don't match the furniture, the paint or any of the paintings.

I first looked into purchasing the SelectTech 552 dumbells when i started the P90X workouts and have been extremely satisfied since receiving them about a year ago. It is simple to adjust the dumbells to the desired weight in only a matter of seconds just by turning the dial. Also doesn't take up a lot of room.

These dumbbells are exactly what you expect. A little bulky so you can't bring your hands together at times, but perfect for a home/garage gym when you don't want to put up racks along your whole wall. My husband and I both use them, him for weight training and me for toning. We're both pleased. He thinks maybe he'll outgrow them sooner than he would have liked, but we're not there yet.
