I use it with the P90X routine. I can't seem to pass by it without picking it up and squeezing out a set or two. If they were to use a more dense material it could be more compact and probably more expensive. I am super satisfied with the build and function. They also look cool.

After hitting a plateau at the gym, I decided to try P90X at home. Unfortunately, my free weight system was entirely too cumbersome to keep up with the P90X pace. When I researched how much it would cost me to purchase all of the free weights I needed, I was amazed how much it would cost and how much room it would take. I had seen the commercials for the Bowflex adjustable weights and decided to research them. I found lots of great feedback on [@] and other web sites. I also considered other brands, but nothing compared to the "user friendliness" of Bowflex. I even went to a local store to try about several types before I made my decision. I ordered the Bowflex and I am so happy with them. The stand was easy to assemble and looks great. The weights work just like the commercial shows and I can keep up with the pace of the P90X program. I would recommend the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells to anyone. They're GREAT!

For all the workouts I have done (only had them a couple weeks) with the dumbbells, they have been great. Seem sturdy enough when out of the holding cell, but the only concern I have had is placing them in the stand...every once in a while one of the disks will slip into another slot.

One of the smartest fitness purchases I have ever made. The weights are easy to use, and because they are dumbbells, there are limitless exercises that can be done with them. The weights are perfect for anyone unless you need heavier weights, in which case I suggest going to the heavier set. I should have bought these when I was younger and saved the monthly gym fees.
