I bought these sight unseen... I had tried most of the other brands and decided to trust the reviews. These are the best adjustable dumbbells out there right now! Very easy to use and select different weight. The selector works smoothly and locks in securely. The only 'con' is the size. They ARE a bit long and wide, but that is to be expected because they can adjust up to 52 pounds.

I love them, but they could have some design changes to make them shorter and less bumpy on the ends. Perhaps Rounded ends or flat ends instead of a Hole. When resting I place them on my legs and it kind of hurts due to the odd shapes. I use this product daily on various workouts. Works for All body movements. I love that I can switch weights fast and continue working out. Removes the lag of switching out weights.

Cons: Longer Than Normal, Oddly Shaped Ends

This is a great set for those who like to work out at home. They replace a large set of dumbbells and take up minimal space. The bench and weight stand feel very sturdy. The weight plates are plastic and the smaller plates may feel a little cheap but I guess there is not other way around the small weight adjustments. I wish there were only one dial to adjust weights on both sides of the dumbbell. Rarely if ever would you used them with different weight settings. I throws the dumbbell off balance. Good variety of weight and overall quality product. I might need something heavier as I get stronger using my new dumbbells.

These 552 dumbbells have been great. I have quickly implemented them into my regular workout routine and have seen and felt an increased level of gains. I had put off purchasing these for a long time and I wish that I had not. The quick change of weight is fantastic. I have little downtime between sets and can immediately vary the resistence level. I workout early in the morning and try to keep the noise level to a minimum to avoid waking everyone else in the house. I thought that these would be loud but they are not. There is more than enough weight to keep you going through almost any workout routine. I would say that anyone on the fence should definately purchase these.
