I've been using the weights for P90x and have found them to be great. They're easy to setup and use. It takes a few seconds to switch weight and they seem like a great set of weights so far. Only con is that there size makes some exercises difficult that require the hands to be near each other.

I bought the weights, along with the stand and bench. I intended to use this for all my full body work outs. In the time that I have used it the only downside that I see is that they are a bit long. It can feel a big awkward if you can't properly control them or depending on what exercises you are doing. However that definitely does not take away anything in my book. The compact size of the weights, along with the practical uses, definitely overshadow this downside. They are the perfect weight - unless you are a super athelete I don't foresee you being able to comfortably do exercises with 52+ LBS - esp for those who casually work out. I can do heavier weights, but that's only for certain exercises. I supplement my regular gym workouts with these weights, which saves time. They are also very well made, I have thoroughly enjoyed using them thus far and will use them for at least the next couple of years.

I can't list any cons simply because I don't feel like I've used them enough yet. However I am beyond excited to get started using them in a few weeks! I cannot wait to lift HEAVIER without having to take up so much space in my house! They fit perfectly in the stands and the stand is sturdy so I don't have to worry about my kids messing with them and getting hurt. I am really, REALLY excited about these!

Great set of dumbbels. I have the 552 and the 1090 sets. I like the handle on the 552 better as they are rubber coated and softer on your hands. The 1090's are all metal and studed so gloves are recommended when using these. When using the dumbbells under 15lbs i think it is bulky so i bought a set of regular 5,10 and 15lb dumbbells which make certain exercise easier to use. Other then that i would recommend this to anyone as it is easy and conventional which is exactly what these dumbbells are meant for.
