I was pleasntly suprised at the mechanical design . The effeciant use of a limited work out area is unsurpassed. The 5.1 tech stand,when added to this product, makes my work out area a multi functional,safe, hasselfree place. I like the dumbells for targeting specific muscle groups, and a welcome addition to my previous purchase of the Bowflex Extreme E2. You cant beat this set up for a work out!!

Do not think too much about whether to spend money on these weights. They are worth EVERY PENNY, and you will wish you had bought them YEARS ago when you first heard of them. My at-home workouts require changing weights often, and this allows me to do that quickly and efficiently without using a ton of space to store individual dumbbells. It takes a small bit of time to get used to the size of the weights, but not long. The range of weight allows both me and my husband to use the same equipment...again, a space saver. Don't wait, buy them.

Gives you a good range of weights when space is limited. Item is a bit bulky at the lower weight settings and as such less flexible. It is not as good as using individual weights, but it is clearly the next best option and better than most other variable weight dumbbells!

Overall the dumbbells are an excellent product. My only problem with them is that they are much bigger than regular dumbbells. For example when doing bench presses the dumbbels hit against each other so that you can do the ful motion. However, this is easily corrected by twisting ur arms when doing the exercises. IN addition, I believe that the materials should be metal instead of plastic on the discs that look the weights. they seem like if u drop them they will instntly crack or break. they are very easy to use and convienient for small apartments,and excellent for qquick workouts at home.
