The bowflex selecttech dumbbells was a great replacement for my cheap set of dumbbells with different plates which i had to change fequently and The stand that I purchased for the dumbbells serves the purpose well. You dont have to bend over when lifting heavy weights and it takes like 2 seconds to choose your desired weight by rotating the knob which doesnt break the oace of your workout and lets you complete your workout faster. Overall, i am very happy and satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend these.

If you are used to gym-quality dumbbells you will be disappointed with these. My brother has a set and loves them, but he has hardly spent any time in the gym. They're a bit floppy and clumsy compared to what you'll get in the gym.

These get the job done for home use. I'm not interested in building a large amount of muscle mass but I do want to tone and fit. These replaced my old set of dumbbells that required screwing end caps on to hold the weight on. These are so simple to adjust and get right back to lifting. I have smaller hands, but these are still easy to grip. My expectations were probably a little wrong regarding size, but I can't fault them for that. These are rather long, so some exercises I accidentally butt the ends against each other. The ends are rubber though, so this isn't a huge problem. I got these on sale with the bench, weight stand, and DVD set. I doubt I'll use the DVD set, but the other items are pretty good.
