I use the product for arms and shoulders. It is a good product because I can transition from weight to weight easily without having problems. The grip is a little small so my thumb tends to get scratched by the ends.

my wife purchased these for me as a birthday gift. they are compact and easy to use. the grip is nice and it feels balanced. the only thing that you have to get used to is the dumbbell is wide to accommodate multiple settings. overall i am really impressed.

My wife bought these along with the bowflex bench, mainly to help eliminate clutter and open up a confined work out space. By eliminating the convential dumbell/barbell set up I have used all my life the Bowflex system gave us a more efficient and pleasant work out area. I was a skeptic, but now I highly recommend the Bowflex Select Tech system!

I use my Select Tech 552's for both cardio and weight training. Prior to purchasing them I had to drag out the specific weight for each exercise and program, which was a lot of trouble, and clutter. Now I simply dial up the correct weight and train to my hearts content. My lovely wife really appreciates the compactness and reduced storage space of the 552's.
