For Those Who Like Classic Weights

I'm not a power lifter by any means, but like many, I prefer lifting traditional weights - and I became a big fan of dumbbells when I saw a full body dumbell workout on a fitness show back in the mid 90s. And while I could use heavier weight for maybe 2-3 exercises, the 552s suit my needs very well - especially if I implement the 4 step rep. But these bells are sturdy, easy to set the weight, and really do reduce workout time because changing weight is so fast and simple. Have not had any problems with them so far. A great investment!

The only complaint I have is that the grip is too small and wish it was longer. The thickness is fine but for someone with big hands, the grip is very uncomfortable. Not properly thought out or designed. I would recommend but with a few caveats.

This set is great for daily lite workouts in front of the tv. I use the weights for muscle toning and body slimming. The set is compact and easy to hide out of sight. Two dumb-bells replace the space usually taken by 20.
