There are compromises with any of these kinds of adjustable weight systems. New users need to be aware that the size and diameter of these dumbbells are large even when used at the lower weights, as compared to their normal counterparts. That can be a good thing, depending on the use case. They are good quality sets and function just fine. The one unexpected negative is that the grips are pretty hard rubber, but that will make them less likely to wear. You can always use gloves.
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
I purchased these along with the Bowflex Max trainer M5 because I am in my mid 50s now and I'm just ready to get serious about getting back into shape I don't like to go to the gym I prefer to workout alone or with my spouse so this is all perfect. I am definitely getting a workout
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens, no more multiple sets of dumbbells laying around
We love our dumbbell set and wish they had a barbell set of the same type that we could purchase. I recommend it to all of my friends who have at home setups.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quiet, Strengthens
Great for home gym use based on the amount of space they consume. Much preferred over having individual dumbbells that consume significantly more space and are also significantly more costly.
