I use these weights for muscle building and they are very effective. Like having a whole set of weights in one compact set. Great space saver, feel like real dumbells. The only thing I notice is the locking mechanism iseems pretty fragile. There is a small button on the underside of the weight that is the locking mechanism and is made of plastic. Seems to work well, just seems a little fragile. If that button breaks, the whole dumbell becomes useless.
