81 years old and look forward to a daily fourteen minute challenge. Helps my joints, my attitude and overall feeling of well being. The machine is well made, not particularly easy to assemble but do-able. Handy to use and not in the way. Goes hand in hand with my B owflex Extreme 2.

Rugged but lacks integration

I belong to a cycling club. My C6 is a great way to ride during the off-season. The bike is well positioned in the range of prices compared to Bowflex and other manufacturers.. The construction is well done. Strong, rugged without any flexing. It was handy to have the fasteners started in their respective threads at assembly. No need to fish for the correct fastener. As a first time user, I had problems integrating the jrny app with the bike. I do not use the jrny subscription with my bike. My plan was to stream music or watch virtual rides on YouTube. In order to do this, it requires two devices. I use the jrny app on my IPhone to track my ride details. When first setting this up it was difficult to tell if I had a Bluetooth connection or not. The heart rate monitor when connected to the app does not appear on the C6 display. When you start riding the display starts tracking your stats. To track your ride on jrny app you have to find your workout and start a it separately. So the stats displayed in the app do not correspond with the display. When I watch a virtual ride on YouTube, that also has to run separately. I use my IPad for that. In order to use both IPad and IPhone, I added a separate bracket for the IPhone. Since the jrny app is separate from the display, the timer on both read separately. When I start the jrny app after I start pedaling the display timer is ahead of the app timer. Eventually the app timer will catch up and surpass the display timer. Obviously they are not integrated. Bowflex tech support has confirmed these issues and in addition advises a flaw in the jrny algorithm. The flaw does not accurately track distance rode. If the display reads a ride of 18 miles for a 1 hour ride it reasons an 18 mph speed. Meanwhile the jrny app may only record 4 or 5 miles. I've simply resolved myself to accept these issues and live with my work arounds. Maybe Bowflex will figure all this out???

The model higher than this set has the Dumbbells tray secured to the optional dumbbells stand, by screws... this model has flimsy, ridicules and on the way straps to hold the Dumbbells tray to the dumbbells stand!!! also, the dumbbells are too big (not practical) and should have been designed with heavier weight and smaller length.

Cons: Flimsy, Heavy / Bulky, Uncomfortable

Very happy with this purchase. Love the ease of use and quickly adjustable changes with a spin of the dials. Only down side is the size of the dumbbell Accommodating all the different weight plates, but it's not a negative, just something to know before you purchase.

I enjoy having these dumbbells at home. I enjoy the many weight combinations, yet without taking up much space. The different weights are easy to adjust. The only slight drawback is the size of the dumbbell, but I understand that it has to have a little size to fit all the weight options on one set of dumbbells. I would definitely recommend this product if you workout at home and need to save space.
