Strapped! Selectech dumbell stand.

I just received my selectech dumbell stand and my 1090 dumbells. The dumbells are awesome but the stand has one huge issue. The dumbell trays are held on with straps! The biggest issue is that the straps run across the top of the dip in the tray for hand clearance when attempting to grab the dumbells. I had to get creative and attach the straps together so the buckle is underneath but this still does nothing for the interference when gripping the dumbell. A simple slot near the bottom of each tray would allow for a different routing for the strap to prevent this issue or better yet utilize the screw holes in the bottom of the tray and fasten the tray to the stand with bolts! I'm very disappointed that this quality piece of equipment is downgraded with something that is so easy to resolve.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up
Cons: Using straps to hold dumbell tray to stand!

I received the dumbbells expecting a quality item, because that's what I've always got from Bowflex. However, I was even more impressed than I thought I would be. First of all, these are very sturdy weights (No twisting or instability). Secondly, the grips on these are great. They have an excellent ergonomic design thanks to the rubberized hand grip (Which reduce callouses and ripping of skin with heavier weight). In a word, Outstanding!

The dumbbells are great space savers, and I highly recommend them if you need dumbbells and have very limited space. But they have two drawbacks. 1) The plates get out of alignment too often causing a dial to stick. Sometimes it can take a few minutes to fix the problem which is frustrating during the middle of a workout. 2) The length of each dumbbell makes them a bit clumsy. The dumbbells are at full length regardless of whether they are set at 5 lbs. or 52.5 lbs. This makes certain dumbbell excercises hard to complete due to the length of each dumbbell.
