I use these for general purpose strength training at home and they're exactly what I was looking for. It's really easy to quickly switch between different weights for things like chest press, tricep extension, calf raises, etc.

Don't waste your money

They work fine if you're working with light weight. But if you're training hard and correctly this things are far too breakable. The plastic pieces break very easily. Very disappointed in them. Don't buy them if you work with heavy weight. They are sure to break.

A friend of mine had these and after trying them out I really wanted a set of my own. Working out at home with these is great. They don't take up much space and give plenty of flexibility in choosing resistance. A little bulky but it's a small issue you quickly get used to. Stand is definitely worth purchasing too. I also have the bowflex kettlebell and regularly use both the dumbbells and kettlebell. Very happy I purchased them.

A gift was for me , I always wanted the dail up weights. I have had a bowflex for 30yrs and always will. I always stick with the best equipment . I lost a lot of my bowflex equipment due to a house fire. Just now starting to replace
