I replaced my original Nautilus SelectTech dumbells with the 552's. The 552's are not as comfortable as the original design due to the handle/bar is not as ergonomically correct as the older version. I'm now having to use padded workout gloves when using the 552 dumbells to avoid pain/bruising due to poor grip design. Also, since I purchased the dumbells, I'm now getting multiple emails per week from Bowflex to try and sell me other products. This is ridiculous!
Pros: Durable, Easy Storage, Easy To Use
Cons: Uncomfortable

I use them daily at home and bring them with when on the road or traveling. They are easier to transport than a bunch of dumbbells. Just wish the straps to secure weights to stand were quicker and easier to do/undo.

Why I won't ever buy a Bowflex product again

I never had a chance to use my dumbbell set since it arrived with a defective dial. Overall the product contained a lot of plastic and small moving parts. Even if they weren't damaged upon arrival, I'd be surprised if they held up very long.
Cons: Flimsy

When I got the XTREME Home Gym, I used it to work out for a couple of weeks. Because the resistance doesn't actually kick in until you are halfway through the motion, you dont get a great workout, and it doesn't get the whole muscle. I contacted the Bowflex team to return the product which they were very helpful. However, after returning the machine, I've had to call multiple times, each time taking over 2 hours, to figure out why my refund hasnt come. I still haven't gotten a refund and its been over a month since they received my machine. Dont go through the hassle, get free weights instead.

Cons: Not Effective
