Nice light for the Texas freeze

I bought 3 of these Lanterns and 3 Site Light Strings for camping and hurricanes. Never thought they would be used in the winter in Houston. I put a lantern and a string in my living room and my kitchen all on 1 power bank for a full day and barely used any power on a 20,000mAh supply. I used the third lantern and string on a smaller power bank in the bathroom.
A great product.
I came here not to write a review but to watch the graphic on how to fold it up so that it fits in the bag. It's not intuitive (to me anyway). Maybe you could print a little instruction card to store with my kit, please.

Great site light! with one minor drawback...

This is a great site lite as it will brighten a large area. Ideal for late night supper with a bunch of friends. Very bright, ambient lightning, and will take small amount of energy to run. The only drawback is that the bugs love this lamp, and since it has an opening that gives access to the interior of the dome, bugs get inside and eventually dies there. Really hard to get them all out before repacking the light in its bag. Conclusion, the fabric will get impregnated with bugs remains, black traces and red spots (from human blood from mosquitos that bit humans). I was able to finally clean the fabric at the end of the camping season with mild soap and it is now back to white. I will have to modify the opening to seal it out before the next camping season. Would buy and modify again!

Needs dimmer control

Good light for my big tent, but most sellers do not tell you you need another lantern to controll dimming. I have only the one lantern and cannot dim. I dint even know what my lantern is set at- doesnt seem like its on full power. I really wish it had a button on it to controll dimming!

I had gotten a few of these lights to start with and added a few more to be able to cover the entire campsite. The light emitted is a warm light which doesn’t seem to attract as many bugs as the normal lanterns or traditional lights. The power usage is minimal and I love the fact that they can be strung together and powered by one source. Very light weight for backpacking too! Would highly recommend them!

Fun, Useful, and Lightweight!

A friend and I recently traveled to Perú and we brought along some BioLite gear, including this lightweight lantern. It was easy to carry due to being lightweight and it packs down pretty good. We brought it with us on a hiking/camping trip in the Andes; as soon as we brought it out, our guides lit up with excitement and began setting up the lantern. We set it up easily outside of our tent and used it for the rest of the night. Again, it was easy to use, lightweight, and is very bright. Overall, I was impressed!

Amazing!

We hung this light in my cabin, which is in a natural wilderness area where there is no power or running water. Powered by the Biolite, the room, with this single light alone, became bright enough to play cards and read by. We now plan on purchasing one for each room in the cabin. Thank you!
