they work great. They feel a little flimsy, but I have had zero issues thus far. Pretty slick little set up, and give off plenty of light. The one thing I would like to see modified on these is how the two lights are held together. Currently it's a really weak magnet. They wouldn't hold together if you tossed them in your duffle pack. I'd be happy with a rubber tab that held them together mechanically, rather than using magnets.

Been wanting to get these string lights for awhile. Tent camping, truck boon-docking, power outages, to-go bag, etc. Small, handy & convenient with the quality I’d expect from Biolite.

Awesome string of lights! Put together three strings to really add some light and atmosphere to our campsite. Great addition to the camping gear, especially for fall trips when sunset comes early.

The housing of the lights pull apart quite easily after limited use and there is no good way to reattach them without it happening every single time you stack them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
