The heat elements are real light weight and make a lot of noise when stirring food in the pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old cook top went on us. We decided to go with Frigidaire after reading outstanding reviews about this product. We've had this cooktop for over 3 months now and am very pleased with it. Heats up quickly and the layout of knobs and burners is another reason we are very pleased with it.

Heats quickly

I love the way it heats so quickly but I'm still having trouble with the burners not sticking up! You sent a repairman but it's doing the same thing. If it wasn't for this issue, I would love it.

Works very well

I bought this a month ago and it works very well. Quality made and heats quickly. Only problem is it shows every spatter immediately so cleaning is a constant chore. I find it scratches easily so you cannot set anything like spoon rest or salt & pepper on it. Very inconvenient - I should have purchased the glass top.
