Great fishing storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I created a storage wall to hold my fishing rods using the gear wall panels and the Fish Rod Hooks. The hooks are adjustable on the wall and allow me to store long and short rods securely. The loop sizes on the hooks also allows me to store my rods with their covers on. They are very sturdy and have a protective covering to ensure the rods won't get damaged!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The fishing rod hooks will keep my fishing rods neat and untangled. They can also be repurposed to hang other things.

Something to hold your rods, but so-so in function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These hooks are so-so in their functionality. I was hoping they'd be more universal and allow for more functional use. You need to space them a ways apart to have them work well, which takes up a lot of space. They only have the 1, set angle to them, all the same, not 'left' or 'right' optional slants. Which to limits their function.
I don't think i'd buy these for my storage needs for my fishing rods.

Works great and rods look great on the wall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You get four hooks; enough to hang two rods. You can hang a rod vertically or horizontally with these. If you hang it horizontally, IMO you're just using up a lot of valuable Gladiator gear track surface area you paid good money for--much more than if you hung it vertically. (If you have a gear wall, I guess you'd use up the same amount of surface area either way.)
This hook has been useful to me for two reasons: 1. It allows me to store the rods assembled. 2. It also allows me to take advantage of that thin piece of real estate high up on the wall next to the garage door track. About the only thing that will fit there for me is something very skinny, like a fishing rod, so this makes good use of an otherwise unusable space.
Just be aware: if your rod is long enough that you have to disassemble it to take it fishing, for example, to fit in a car, there's not much advantage to storing it assembled in the first place. Also, assuming you hang the rod vertically, unless you have a really tall ceiling, or a spinning rod, or a short-ish kids rod, you'll need to mount the bottom hook really low (what secures your rod in the Gladiator hook is the reel, which catches on the bottom hook). This mean that an adult sized fly rod isn't a good candidate for hanging vertically. I tried to hang my 8' 6" fly rod vertically on this and in order to fit, the bottom hook would have to be mounted not much more than 18" off the ground. So I hang my kids' spinning rods on these. None of this is a flaw of the Gladiator hooks, as this dynamic is probably true of any rod hanging setup.
That said, the rods look nice on the wall. Assuming you want to hang your rods vertically, I'd just say consider how low you'd have to mount that bottom hook before you buy.

It saves me so much space in my garage and leaves me room for other things that I can put in the fishing rods place in the garage. I also like that it keeps them up and out of the way to keep them from being damaged.

Great Quality but Lacks Flexibility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rods sit in these great however they can only go one direction. This limits where you can place these on your track/wall. I probably would not get any more just because I feel there are better options for rod holders.
