I used this for the first time on s long road trip, was great through the whole trip. The last three days weee all travel and I never opened the cooler. When I got not only was the food still cold, there was still ice in the cooler.

We purchased the 65 quart venture cooler just before we were leaving for our Labor Day weekend camp trip. First the shipping was so fast and our cooler arrived in time for the trip. We filled it with cold items and a few frozen items. We forgot to buy ice, so we added 6 16oz frozen water bottles and planned to get ice at our destination. We didn’t need it at all but did buy some just to be safe on the third day. The latches seem to be extremely sturdy. The only complaint we have is that it’s heavy, but we don’t really move it around too much. We are extremely happy with out cooler!

In the last 3 weeks, I have used my 65 Venture now 4 times in the Arizona sun, I can tell you that it beats any other cooler I have used. The bult in handles, the hinges, the Lid latches and the built in opener make it the most well designed cooler ever. The most important factor for me was the ice retention , no other cooler comes close. Otter Box has hit a Home run with this cooler. 3 of my friends saw mine and bought one. It sells itself.
