Really nice design, quiet fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado medium air circulator came to me at a perfect time. Our air conditioner had been on the fritz and with the circulator, we were able to keep the temperatures in the living areas down. This circulator is a very nice design with a stable base. It's very quiet on the lowest setting, and still powerful enough to cool a room. The higher settings are amazing with how powerful it is. The only con is that I wish it turned on to the lowest setting. It is a bit abrupt to turn it on to the powerful blast of air, even though it's the medium setting. I wish it would oscillate too, but that's okay. Overall, great product and would definitely recommend.

Cons: Lacks Adjustability

Great compact air circulator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying my Vornado Medium Air Circulator. Taking it out of the box I immediately noticed the quality of the fan and how sturdy it was. I like that it is compact and I am extremely impressed with how powerful it is. There are four different settings and the controls are push buttons. At the two lower settings the fan isn't very loud, but at the highest settings I find the fan to be some what loud. Not a rattling noise but just the powerful blow of the fan. It's very compact and fits nicely on my dresser and I love the all black finish, it just looks modern, and not like your typical table top fan. I've never owned a fan as powerful as the Vornado Medium Air Circulator, and I would definitely recommend this circulator to anyone looking to buy a powerful and quality fan.
Pros: Compact, Durable, Good Power Output, Lightweight, Stable Base
Cons: Loud

Spectacular

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Vornado to exceed my expectations. I have bought many fans over the past 10 years and seem to have to replace them often due to high use. The Vornado produces a high volume of air circulation in a fraction of the size of a standard box fan. The air output is great for both small and larger rooms. Have used primarily in a bedroom, but also have used in a living room and can tell a huge difference in both settings. The price is a little higher, but it is worth it for the quality. If you're on the fence on the price, I would recommend spending the extra for the Vornado.

Let There Be Air!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to other fans I've purchased/owned, this fan has superseded my expectations! Despite being a little more costly, it's a high quality fan that really does circulate air throughout the entirety of a room. There are a total four fan speeds and even on the lowest setting, and despite furniture seemingly blocking direct air flow, I continue to feel a nice breeze. I've kept my fan downstairs next to an air-conditioning vent in our main living area. This really helps circulate our air conditioning downstairs and allows us to increase our thermostat by a couple degrees without sacrificing comfortability. While the highest fan speed setting is a bit louder, I tend to use this setting when I'm not present in the room, and upon returning, I simply knock it down to a lower fan speed setting.
Pros: Adjustable, Durable, Good Power Output, Stable Base
Cons: Loud (on highest setting)

good power and quiet

I bought the 560 for my home office and am happy with it, since it's still more than powerful enough--I usually keep it on a low setting--and yet it's also quieter than the other models I've owned, and on the lower settings, it's not disruptive to my many work calls. I've generally been buying and using the 660-level fans from Vornado, figuring that even with smaller rooms, it's good to have that large capacity to circulate air. But now I realize that the medium-sized fan is plenty, especially because the larger fans can be a bit more distracting with their noise, even if they are still quiet compared with other conventional fans. Although I've had the 560 for only a month or so, my other Vornado fans (including a gray model that's no longer being sold) have lasted years and still work great.

Excellent Air Circulator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thing was great during the end of winter beginning of spring. When temperatures are still low, this helped circulate the hot air from the vents nicely in our living room. It also helped our visiting Grnadpa, who did not like the higher heater temps in the house fan himself off and use it as a personnel fan. He gave the Vornado 2 thumbs up and try to borrow it from us. We are excited to use it to circulate air on our upper floors in the summer. These rooms get stuffy in the hot heat and I am pretty sure this little fan will help.

Our Favorite Fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are so many brands of fans out there and I used to think, a fan is a fan. I tried the Vornado and I realized that there is a difference in quality. I love the adjustability, durability and quietness of this fan. Most of all, I love that it really does move the air in the whole room around. Unlike other fans, the Vornado tilts up. Hot air rises so it is moving the air around, rather than just where you point the fan. With other fans, when it is pointed at you, you feel cool, but as soon as you move, you're hot again. The Vornado actually brings the temperature down in the whole room. We absolutely love this fan!

The best fan I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a fan in my bedroom since elementary school. This is, by far, the best one I've owned. The power in this fan is unbelievable. I'm able to place it across the room and enjoy the perfect breeze as I sleep. The noise level is just right, something that I've not been able to say with other fans. Even with a super powerful motor system, the fan itself is not overly heavy and the base provides great stability. I'm looking forward to purchasing a second fan to keep on the porch for those humid summer days!
