Great bang for the buck!

I wasn't ready to make the jump to an AX modem so I looked for highly-rated AC modems. Asus' products rise to the top of many lists. We have a small house and relatively limited use so we didn't need a ToL router but we did want one conversant with Apple products and we wanted one that offered more security in the form of firmware updates and extensive management options. The RT-AC66B_U1 fills the bill.
Setup was easy, everything is working as advertised, and it's run pretty much 24x7 since it was installed with only one reboot. I'm satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Home Router

Needed a new wireless router to connect and improve all our home Wi-Fi devices. This router was very highly rated in numerous magazine articles. It has not disappointed us, all our Wi-Fi devices are running great with no dropped signals at all.

Affordable high performance

Get the most of your devices and high speed Internet connection with this router. Setting it up is a breeze with the ASUS Router mobile app, no need of a computer and the GUI is awesome. Signal coverage is excellent and the internal performance of the router made my home network way faster than before. Not the cheapest around but you have a lot of features for the price.

I purchased several months ago and it was very easy to set up. I have good coverage in my 1400 square foot home. No problem with my model RT-AC66U B1.

Reliable Equipment

I bought the -B1 router in May 2022 to replace my still-working RT-AC66U only because the latter had reached end-of-life. Both are fine routers, easy to set up and user-friendly interfaces. Reliable - no interruptions.
