It requires an ON/OFF switch on the unit itself so that you DO NOT have to unplug it to turn it off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got one of these as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. Plugged it into my MacBook Pro USB port and was very impressed with the light output. Left the unit plugged in and came back an hour or so later to discover that all but 2 of the LED emitters had burned out and the remaining 2 were only barely illuminated. I am sure that nothing is amiss with my MacBook Pro as I use both the USB ports all the time with other accessories.

Great light...for one use...then kaput! Was the USB plug intended to rotate or was that the cause of the failure?

Love the light, had it for 8 months or so. I use it to light up my camera bag at night along with the guide ten power pack, while doing night long exposure photography. The metal shaft broke after using it near the led side. Now the light still works, but it's useless cause it wont hold it's shape. Any way can have it replaced? I've grown to love this light and use it daily. I can't think of an alternative light source nor do I care too.

The Luna light makes a nice light and works off od the Guide 10 Battery pack. I purchaed it to use as a tent light for a long backpacking trip. Sadly, by the time I got on the trail it was bent and only 1/2 was working. By the time I got back it was not working at all.

Great product for camping. Light is very bright. One concern: how hot the light gets. Is the light bar supposed to get too hot to touch?
