The lantern itself works fine, but it was all scratched, not just the plastic, but also metal surface. Seems like someone used it before sending it to me.

I love this lantern

I use this lantern every other weekend at my off-the-grid cabin. I love this lantern, we have it fully charge (4 lights) and it lasts the weekend with remaining power left. The lantern is turned on and off over the night (12am - 6am) several times and ran continously during evening hours (5pm - 12pm). I would venture to guess it runs about 10+ hours in total and we have never ran out of light, we seldom if never use the USB charging device, BT App or other colors of light, even though they are pretty kool. Generally speaking we use only one side of the light and about 50-60% max lighting. Occasionally we'll use it at full power with both lights lit. This lantern has been used indoors/outdoors rain and snow, temps from 4F to 90F without issue. On other products BioLite has fully supported me and the products that may have malfunctioned. This lantern continues to serve me in an awesome manner. PS - just used it again this past weekend.

This unit is everything I hoped it would be. It takes awhile to fully charge when plugged in at home, but once you’re out on a trip it can keep your lights and phones charged up. The app works great too, allowing you to put on a light show at your camp if you wish! Side note: the first unit I received wouldn’t charge up after it went dead the first time, but customer service responded very quickly and within two days I had a new unit in hand. Excellent service. This is a great company
