Loved this espresso maker from the moment I made my first double. Very easy to use and keep up with the service. Would highly recommend this product for great espressos.
Use this primarily for coffee, which is excellent. When the occasion comes up, the cappuccino is fantastic! Much better than my "old" ENA that developed a leak when just out of warrantee.
Pros: very easy to use
Cons: small water tank but necessary to minimize size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very easy to program and make espressos and lattes to your taste. Maintenance seems very easy, albeit I haven't had to de-scale yet. The only downside is that I'm drinking more coffee now - go figure!
Pros: easy to program, easy to clean/maintain, front access to water and refuse bin, small footprint
Cons: water container seem small, pan underneath seems to fill often.
After three months, I'm quite happy with our Syntia. The quality is just about as good as a manual machine but the consistency is better. The ease of use and time savings is a bonus. I still enjoy steaming my own milk and frankly, I'm glad I didn't pay (quite a bit) extra for that capability. I like the power of the frother, it consistently provides good frothy milk quickly. Others have complained about the similar menu buttons. Once I read the instructions, there are only a few things I really needed to know to operate. Manual is adequately descriptive.
Pros: ability to select 2 shots and walk away while they
This is my fourth Saeco machine and its my second Super automatic in the last 30 years, so I'm not new to this. There are many things that I like about this machine and many things that I dislike too. What I like is that it has a nice design, it's small and quieter then my last machine. The espresso comes out pretty good and it does a excellent job frothing the milk. What I don't like is that since its small so is everything on it and it becomes a problem if you use it a lot like I do. The water tank is small so it has to be filled often, the bean hopper is small and also has to be filled often. the bean hopper is also poorly designed, the beans don't alway drop into the grinder so you have to manually adjust the beans so they can drop down to the grinder. The worse part is the drip tray, it is small and shallow so if don't constantly empty it or if you move the machine you end up with a puddle of water on the counter. Over all I still like the machine, I just refill and clean it more often.
Pros: good espresso and frothing., very quite
Cons: drip tray too small water spills out very easly., shallow bean hopper beans don't drop to grinder.
