Weird smell in dishwasher

We got the dishwasher to go in our newly remodeled kitchen. Looked great but smells terrible. We thought maybe it was because it was new and just needed to run a time or two. It's bean run a number of times blow and still has a very strange stench. Fortunately the dishes don't smell when you take them out. The smell isn't quite as strong as at the beginning but still there.
The control buttons are a as little weird to get used to. They seem to take quite a bit of pressure to activate.
For the money spent and suggestion from salesperson, I guess I expected more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5 years ago we purchased a Bosch dishwasher to replace our old Kenmore. While the Kenmore did a good job, the Bosch did a great job. In addition, we couldn't get over how quiet the unit was. It was a small house, so the Kenmore could be heard no matter where you were. 5 years later, in a new house doing a kitchen remodel, and when it came time to pick a dishwasher Bosch was #1 choice.

Love my Bosch Dishwasher!

I had never owned a Bosch appliance but my son and his wife had put one in their new kitchen and loved it. It is so very quiet. Our kitchen is very open to our family room area and when the dishwasher is running, you can't even hear it. Plus the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry! I love it!

takes too long and the inner door and the floor remains wet unless we use the sanitize which would be 2.5 hrs!!

New Bosch dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really love this new dishwasher, our second Bosch. This one is so quiet we weren't sure it was working! And the half load setting is great for our small household-more inclined to use it and not waste water on a full load cycle.
