Great Features

Very Quiet and Well Built

Excellent Choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced all of our 20 year old appliances in October. We chose Bosch because we were pleased with the Bosch dishwasher we have in another home. The design is sleek and the appliances are easy to keep clean and looking nice. A huge factor in choosing the dishwasher was that it is one of quieter brands on the market and we have been very impressed with that feature.
Another great feature is the third level "My Way" rack. To be honest, when we saw it in the showroom we thought it would be useless. To our great surprise, we use it constantly! It is ALWAYS full--ramekins, cereal bowls, 8x8 cake pans, spatulas, ladles, etc.--they all fit.
Since our old dishwasher had a heating element, we were worried that our dishes wouldn't dry. We just use run our tap water until it is hot, then choose the speed 60 cycle and extra dry and everything comes out clean and dry. (We don't put plastics in the dishwasher.)
This has been a great choice for us. We are very pleased with all of our Bosch appliances.

Cleans like a charm!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new dishwasher, and after looking at all out there I went with this Bosh. It is my first, and I love it. I have had it a month now and dishes come out clean, and machine is VERY quite..Some people had a issue with "water" or condensation on back after cycle. Mine did this also. I figured it had to be something I did or didn't do because I was changing from a heat drying dishwasher. The solution is easy. When cycle is over, open the dishwasher and let it vent for a couple minutes. Problem solved. If you put in a plastic tupper ware put a mug on each side to help the plastic dry.

Beware: Might be a lemon.

We bought this dishwasher brand new a few weeks ago, and it stopped working literally within 72 hours of purchase. Apparently, the entire control panel was faulty. Weeks later and we still have no replacement part or new dishwasher. If you want to roll the dice on reliability, you can try buying this dishwasher, but you're really taking a risk. You might end up with a pricey useless block like we did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had this model. After a year and a half I had to replace the pump. Then in a cold snap, the reserve water actually froze something that had never happened in my house in 25 years. My repair guy said he'd had both of those things happen a lot with Bosch lately. Keeping the door open to prevent another freeze up caused an strange accident -- I tripped on the door damaging it beyond repair. That isn't Bosch's fault. Sooo against my better judgment I bought another just like it. It was installed by a major retailer. When I ran the dishwasher it left the dishes wet and dirty and cold even though all the right controls had been pushed (remember I knew this model). The store took it back an allowed me to exchange it. I did - for a competitor's model. It's great. It cleans. It is just as quiet and dries better than the Bosch ever did.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Dishwasher

This is the best dishwasher I have ever purchased. It is the quietest I've ever had. We recently purchased an open floor plan home and I was concerned about the dishwasher but to my surprise you don't even know it is running.

Quite dish washer

Just had the Bosch dishwasher installed. I am amazed by the quite operation of the washer. Very pleased. Laser projection of cycle time is an added bonus
