SLEEK & ELEGANT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best dishwasher I have ever owned!!! It has been worth every penny. My friends think I. Crazy for getting such an expensive unit, but to e it is a worthwhile investment and I know the quality of BOSCH is the highest quality you can find. I love the third rack! That was a feature I really wanted. Having a 39 Decible dishwasher is just AMAZING!! My grandkids think the red light shining on the floor to show it is in use is great. I have an open floor plan and with my family room and kitchen being almost one I. The same room. It is nice not to have to turn up the TV to hear! I left the plastic cover on because I have a 1.5yr old grandbaby and it is an added protection for smudges and little finger prints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything as advertised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is quiet, cleans even dried-on eggs and has lots of versatility to move racks around. The tray on top will take those thin items that are hard to place on the other racks. It is especially nice to be able to put plastic items anywhere and not worry about them. A great product that won't disappoint.

Great features! Super Quiet!

Does fantastic job of cleaning dishes. Love third rack for utensils, knives, etc. Most Definitely recommend. If you've never owned one, you don't know what you are missing!

Shockingly clean dishes every time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t say that I have owned all that many dishwashers in the past (4 of them) but this machine is far superior to anything I have previously owned. The first time I used it, I purposely put in a difficult cleaning job with lots of steak grease and other solidified gunk. However, I did not put in burnt to carbon food stuff in a stainless steel pot because that would be an egregious mistake on my part in the cooking process. Well everything came out squeaky clean – the cleanest I have ever seen my dishes. As a bonus, the machine is silent. I mean so quiet, it needs a light projected onto the floor to tell you that it is washing. This is quite incredible. It must be an ingenious hydro engineering.
I was surprised how useful the third rack turned out to be. Now, all the flat type items go up on the third rack, leaving the second rack free for glasses and cups. I have run auto mode and eco mode. I really don’t see the difference. Because the plates are so hot at the end of both cycles, there probably is not much of a difference in energy consumption. Although the center rack is adjustable, I have not had to adjust anything as there is plenty of space spread out over three racks.
A few things could be improved, but they just need some getting used to. The biggest issue is that the door tends to close tightly all by itself. There is no detent or crack to keep the air circulating. If you do not rinse your dishes before loading them, this can contribute to a smell problem. I do not normally get food stuck on the bottom filter as it seems to get pulverized by the cleaning action – so that does not contribute to any odor problem. So, I don’t know why people report an odor problem except with the door design could be better. A second issue is that the touch controls are easily activated, although I have never accidentally started a wash.

I bought this dishwasher a couple months ago and love it so far. It's quiet, it cleans well. Cannot say enough about the fabulous third rack. It's really quite great.

Does What it is Supposed To

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DW replaced a previous Bosch, so I was familiar with the characteristics.
Pros: There are six unique wash cycles, which gives me flexibility. For instance, a half-load requires about 45 minutes quicker than a standard load. When I need a quick wash, I can reduce the time to 60 minutes.
The other unique aspect is the loading. On the right side, lower rack, I can rotate a set of bars to have twice the number of items (dishes). The middle and upper racks also provide flexibility. The upper rack is removable, and the middle rack is vertically adjustable for taller objects.
I like the top rack because it holds certain items that I find difficult to place in the DW, namely, jar lids.
The top control panel uses touch control rather than mechanical buttons.
Cons: Plastic does not dry very well and I usually end up hand wiping. However, I rather do this than having a Calrod heating element at the base that deforms plastic the lower rack items.
